On Tuesday, June 12, 2012, we meet the invitation of the Saudi Embassy in Helsinki and they welcomed us and we dealt with Arabic coffee and Kabsa Arabia to us that we are a long time for this wonderful tradition, all the staff at the embassy visit us happy for them
We ask God that saves us, our King and his Crown Prince and our government and our nation
Thank them for this wonderful reception

Visit to Nokia and Tampera on 14 June 2012

We met at the train station and boarded the bus heading to Nokia in the city of Tampere, and when we've met the officials there and welcomed us and gave us coffee and tea, and then began to display a message about the company and what types of communication devices also about cooperation with universities and learning solutions  , etc..

The trip was so wonderful and the place is excellent where we have a number of activities .. We thank the lecture and her son, who has the processing tent the day before the date of the trip and we have barbecues and drinking tea and coffee .. Thank you for that

Budgeting

We put on the budget and that our work as a group and we did it in front of colleagues, trainers, where the distribution of roles between colleagues all people dedicated to him a number of slides we used a balloon to brainstorming activities .. We believe that it is very important to know this subject because it touches all aspects of our lives .. See annex

1. our  trade is IT Software solutions for business

2. our TD is described through spreadsheet tool.

3. use spreadsheet for illustrating how can we make comparison between market shares of different soda companies around the world .

4.   the competitor should manage to show how this module can be updated automatically by interlinking to authenticated and relevant sites in the web.

5. the competitor should be assed based on graphics 50% and table 30% , 10% for coloring and design and 10% for the module to update.

6. we are presenting  now and hopefully we have provided nice and a creative idea that you enjoyed too .

Subject: Creative Corporate and Marketing Communication: PBL-tutorial

DL: Juho arrives and makes sure the tables are in a PBL formation; everyone is seated and makes sure that everyone has his/her nameplate on the table and is ready to start. Then discussion about how to organize advertising campaign such as:

-         how to organize an advertising campaign ? What are the steps? What needs to be considered? difference in media used

-         What are differences between conventional and unconventional advertising campaign? What is/could considered an unconventional campaign?

-         Benefits –Risks –Why would a company choose an unconventional campaign?

-         How culture and ethics affect the advertising campaign?

-         How is cultural difference seen in advertisements of the same product?

-         Why does culture affect advertising campaigns, or does it?

-         Show examples of conventional or unconventional campaigns in a global aspect or from your country.

As you might noticed above, the teacher started the meeting (Seminar) by making one whole circle group for general discussions. Every time they finished discussing an idea he opened another while the observer (Suvi) in monitoring commenting and grading. It has been said to the student and us before the main topics are explained in the students Moodle.

It seems the teacher methodology is based on social-structural learning basis. In the group discussion after general discussing marketing the conventional and unconventional marketing differences and cultural ethics effects on advertising campaigns were addressed. Then the session at the end were concluded by mentioning the sources of info’s and commenting positively in general on colleague’s participation and observers and directors administrations.

 In brief it was great opportunity to join such class and notice how the social learning methodology was effective.

Subject : The Bank Of Finland

We started our visit to Bank of Finland museum at 11:30A.M. Then the students and teacher reaches after. The guide manger of museum introduced him-self and the planned program of the visit. After that the trainer Olli introduced himself to us. The executive manager of the museum suggested that he and his colleague "economist" talk about the history of Bank of Finland and four important tools and the cornet economic situation of Finland. The visit in our opinion is one kind of learning methods related to social-structural mixture of pedagogical learning way. He presented the PowerPoint lecture and we tried to ask some relative and appropriate question related to the fiscal and monetary tools of managing the economy, and the condition between the central bank and ministry of finance, the question were appreciated by teacher and hosts and answered properly too. After lectures and questions time the host invited everybody to have a tour and feed free to ask the museum manager (Supervisors) .

Last but not least, we enjoyed the experience and benefices as well and took the feedback from students, and of which is that social approach should be apply after explaining the principles clearly but in general the teacher methods were approval by students. We think the teacher were socialist structural learning and used 80% for exams and 50% for reports and assignments. It was really an insightful experience .

Subject : Capital Budgeting and Taxation

The instructor started his lesson by explaining the subject he will teach during the time scheduled. It was about corporate and individual taxation . The teacher were very clear and were content centered and teacher centered at the beginning . The pace of teaching were moderate well organized. The plan were not clarified completely in the beginning of the class but the  instructor moved smoothly between the subject details headlines. We think that instructor "Pekka" methodology were based on cognitive constructive mixture strategy. In his methods, we like the idea that he used both PowerPoint and the board for application purposed and at the end of the class. He gave the students an exercise to solve a problem which he solved after (10) minutes. We benefited in general about Finland taxation system and enjoyed the class.

In summary, after attending the two lectures and taking the feedback from the students, we enjoyed the lecture and found it beneficial to interact with out pear lecturers here in Finland ; though the teacher should have added some attracting learning methods moving toward more social methods.

The instructor "Pikka" started the lesson with the subject Business planning which is related to Business and tourism in specific .  The instructor already assigned the groups of global point of view to made presentation on this matter. The groups were divided into : 1-China 2-India 3-Russia 4-North America and 5-Germany.

Each group describe their point of view after that a general discussion were opened by the Pikka.

Here we will be talking about tow main aspects taken over the first week which TVTC education philosophy and the Finnish one on one side and learning culture. They will be highlighted and reflected on sequentially.

Several aspects related to general concerns like TVTC and Finnish Education 'mission, vision' and 'operational strategies' were presented and gone though compare and contrast analysis strategy.

This, for instance, includes 'equality', 'quality' 'efficiency' and 'Competition' versus 'Collaboration'.
